**Job Summary / Purpose**

This position includes responsibilities for maintaining system encounter and financial databases and tables for the decision support system, updating the databases according to set schedules, and auditing the data. This position will perform duties for the cost accounting closes including costing audits and RVU development. This position will also be responsible for creating meaningful analysis for customers and produce scheduled reports on time.

In order to succeed in this role, this position will act as a consultant to the facility clinical and financial teams, and initiate, coordinate, and provide input for the decision support projects and the ability to discover and resolve financial or encounter integration issues such as overhead allocation, financial remapping, and encounter data discrepancies.
