Job Description

Coordinates the daily activities of the dental associates. Maintains equipment, supplies, operatory area(s), and delivery of quality dental services.

Job Responsibility

+ Prepares operatory prior to examination/treatment by setting up instruments consistent with procedure to be performed.
+ Assists dentist at chair-side during examination and treatment of patients with suctioning, reflecting tissues, passing instruments, and the preparation and handling of dental materials and medicaments.
+ Performs dental laboratory procedures including, model pouring and trimming and fabricating mouth guards.
+ Develops and maintains dental x-rays during patient procedures.
+ Cleans, bags, and sterilizes instruments used and is responsible for tray set-ups.
+ Assists in ordering, stocking, and dispensing inventory items, and maintaining the inventory control system.
