Job Description

A*STAR ITSS (IT Shared Services) Division is seeking an experienced and forward looking leader to helm enterprise wide data governance and management. This role leads a dedicated team within the ITSS CIO Office to shape A*STAR's data strategy, strengthen data governance across corporate and research domains, and drive the adoption of AI enabled and automated approaches specifically to enhance and streamline data management processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Governance


  • Lead the formulation, implementation and continual refinement of A*STAR's enterprise data strategies, policies, standards and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal and ethical requirements in data usage, privacy and security.


  • Establish clear data ownership, stewardship, retention and accountability frameworks to strengthen enterprise trust and consistency in managing data assets.
