Job Description
The Design Engineer is a critical member of the IDS team whose mission is to ensure that designs meet mission requirements. This role involves analyzing, designing, and modeling product enhancements on existing programs, as well as supporting conceptual designs for new programs.
Responsibilities

+ Provide practical, functional, and compliant equipment designs.

+ Read and interpret specifications, proposals, pricing, and correspondence.

+ Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.

+ Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements.

+ Generate technical component documentation.

+ Provide technical assistance to the production and testing teams.

+ Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Creo and SolidWorks.
