Job Description
Summary:
- Accurately assemble patient trays and deliver meals.
- Receive and record dietary orders using the Dietary Management System.
- Assist patients with menu selection.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitation of soiled dishes.
- Restock and service cafeteria, including operation of cash register.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with meal selection using the Dietary Management System in coordination with diets as assigned by the Dietician.
- Communicate discrepancies and issues to the Dietician as applicable.
- Accurately assemble and deliver patient and guest trays according to menu selection using proper portion control.
- Pick up trays when the patient is finished and deliver food and beverage orders to other departments.
