Digital Imaging Technician

As a Digital Imaging Technician, you will:

• Operate one or more digitizing devices to capture raster image files of a range of materials, including loose and bound paper documents of all sizes, photographic prints and film, and three-dimensional objects.
• Export image files through automated image processing applications or may perform basic, predefined image processing to individual files. The technician may insert supplied metadata into software tools or into image files directly. The tasks assigned will range from routine, predictable operations to more complex or nonstandard processes.
• Perform ongoing checks of their work as well as the work of others to confirm project standards are being maintained.
