Position Summary Information
Responsibilities The Director of Workforce and Teacher Education Initiatives provides leadership for efforts that strengthen workforce development pathways and educator preparation pipelines aligned with the university’s strategic plan, as well as regional, state, and national priorities. This role is central to expanding K–12 and industry partnerships, advancing economic and workforce development outcomes through innovative outreach, and addressing teacher shortages through academic programming and credentialing. The Director collaborates closely with faculty, academic leaders, school districts, workforce agencies, and employers to develop initiatives that improve access, completion, licensure, and employment outcomes in high-need fields.
