Job Overview

The Director, Production Planning & Inventory Control is a key member of the Facility Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) Operations team. They hold responsibility for operational leadership, direction, inventory, and P&L management. This Director leads a dynamic, fast-paced Macy’s CFC by overseeing the execution of Macy’s Customer Fulfillment strategy through continuous process improvement, operational excellence, and cross-shift collaboration. The ideal candidate is results-oriented and promotes and emulates Macy’s values and behaviors by fostering a colleague-centric environment. This role demands a highly resourceful leader with strong operations experience, self-motivation, and a keen sense of curiosity and learning. They should possess the ability to coach and influence a team of direct reports and have a successful track record of driving results. This position reports to the Sr Director, Facility Leader of the CFC.
