Job Purpose:
As a warehouse operative at Worldwide Logistics Group UK, your primary purpose is to support in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. A warehouse operative will assist with anything from inventory management, order production, goods in and out and collaborate with other departments within the organisation.
Duties and responsibilities:
- General and Task Management.
- Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork and systems.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of goods meets customers timescales/requirements and SLA.
- Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
