Drafting Manager Position Summary
Lead, coordinate, and develop a team responsible for producing detailed engineering drawings and documentation. This role oversees drafting resources that support multiple internal groups, including Engineering, Fabrication, Purchasing, Sales, Aftermarket Services, external suppliers, and new product development initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Assign drafting tasks by interpreting project requirements and distributing work to CAD operators and document control staff to ensure timely completion.
+ Establish quality controls within the department to ensure drawings and details are thoroughly checked and free of errors or omissions.
