We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team at our school.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at the start of their educational journey. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, exploration and structured activities.

EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Barrowford 
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour 
Start Date: September 2026 or ASAP
Contract: Full-time 8.30am - 3.30pm 

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning activities
• Work with children individually and in small groups to support development
• Assist with early reading, phonics and numeracy skills
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
