Purpose of Role

To conduct maintenance, repairs, and services on the allocated Earthmoving Equipment across Tharisa Minerals (TM) by identifying the various parts of the equipment that need to be tended to and/or replaced ensuring any concerns or issues with the respective equipment’s performance are corrected as optimally and cost-efficiently as possible. To diagnosis mechanical issues, conduct routine maintenance by inspecting the equipment, identifying the root cause of the issue as it relates to the respective equipment, repairing accordingly and ensure that equipment meets Tharisa Minerals standards.

• Assess breakdowns and the associated risks of moving the equipment, ensuring it is safe to move and if it can be moved before repairs take place.
