Overview

As an EC&I Engineer at Johnson Matthey, you’ll support the company’s mission as a leader in sustainable technology, accelerating the transition to net‑zero by managing and improving electrical, control, instrumentation, and safety equipment across the Royston site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Electrical Engineer and the Royston Engineering team in providing second level technical support for industrial EC&I equipment.
• Drive implementation and delivery of EC&I improvement plans to meet current and future business needs.
• Ensure compliance inspections across EC&I equipment (ATEX, Functional Safety, Gas Detection, Fire Alarms, Environmental Analyzers, Fire Suppression, Test Equipment calibration, etc.) are conducted and documented.
