Harmeny Education Trust is a charitable organisation providing therapeutic care and education to children who have experienced early years trauma through abuse, neglect and family disruption, referred from all over Scotland. We currently work with children and young people aged 5-18, both on a day and all-year-round residential basis. We are seeking Education Support Workers to join Harmeny on a part-time, ongoing employment basis to provide learning support to pupils aged 5 to 18. Working closely with the Class Teacher and Education Teams, the Education Support Worker will promote engagement with learning within the classroom and other learning environments. They will contribute to a culture and ethos within a highly nurturing and supporting environment, in order to provide the secure base that children and young people require to engage in their learning.
