Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join one of their largest utility clients in NYC. This person will be responsible for designing and supporting projects that align with the Capital and Operations & Maintenance budgets for various facilities, including service centers, commercial buildings, warehouses, repair garages, and various other infrastructure sites. They will also support projects for other departments such as Steam Distribution, Substation Operations, Electrical Operations, Information Technology, and Transportation Operations. Their day-to-day tasks involve providing expert engineering support for commercial building and yard electrical systems, specifying and selecting low and medium voltage switchgear, emergency diesel generators, and uninterruptible power supplies, while ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code, NYS & NYC Building Codes, and NFPA standards.
