**Description:**
You will be the Electromechanical Design Engineer for the Common Command Flight Termination System (FTS) team. Our team leads the IRAD and ModSTAR initiatives that create reusable, high reliability hardware for flight termination applications across all future Lockheed Martin missile programs.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Electromechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing the ESAF (Electronic Safe and Arm Fuze) packaging that will serve as the common ESAF backbone for every new FTS. You will work hand in hand with electrical, mechanical and systems engineers to turn performance requirements into a manufacturable, flight qualified hardware solution. • Developing detailed 3 D models, 2 D drawings and electromechanical layouts for the ESAF
• Selecting materials, components and manufacturing processes that satisfy size, weight, power and environmental constraints.
