PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To prepare patients for invasive procedure, and assist the physician during a diagnostic catheterization, PTCA, or electrophysiology study. Rotates through all aspects of the laboratory.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for providing clinical for electrophysiology procedures including, but not limited to Pacemaker and defibrillator implants, EP studies, ablations, and loops recorders.
Responsible for providing clinical for cardiac interventional procedures including, but not limited to Diagnostic Catheterization, Balloon Angioplasty, Peripheral Vascular Angioplasty, Rotational and Directional atherectomy, Stent Placement, Cardiac Structural Interventions (TAVR, EVAR. Mitral Clip, and Watchman), as well as electro-physiology procedures.
