Elevator/Escalator Journeyman

Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education 

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) and completion of a Vocational or technical training program in Elevator and Escalator maintenance

    • Experience 

  • A minimum of two experience as a licensed Elevator/Escalator technician (Elevator and Escalator maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair)

    • Certification/Licensure

  • Any, one or more, of the following (and maintained while in the job):
  • Valid Driver¿s License
  • Certification from (NEIP) National Elevator Industry Education Program
  • Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee or equivalent (JATC)
  • Certified Elevator Technician (CET)
  • Current MD, VA, DC mechanic licenses
  • A valid driver¿s license
