Job Description
Responsibilities - Install security system components, units, and printed circuit boards following instructions from the Project Engineer (e.g., cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks, etc.).
- Install structured cabling for various systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, etc.).
- Install and service various intrusion, CCTV, and access control systems in both commercial and high‑end residential environments.
- Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
- Work independently as well as in group settings; be a highly motivated self‑starter, well organized and able to multi‑task.
- Use and test electronic equipment for reading voltage (e.g., digital multimeter).
- Use hand tools and small power tools (e.g., drilling machines, screwdrivers, cutters).
- Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
