Overview

We are looking for a skilled software engineer who wants to bring new audio technology to the Marine environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new entertainment solutions based upon industry communication standards (Bluetooth, USB, Wi‑Fi, Ethernet).
• Plan and document tasks and requirements.
• Follow the Garmin development process.

Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or relevant engineering/technical field.

• Writing software in C and C++, understand fundamental object‑oriented design methodology (inheritance, polymorphism, abstract classes, templates).
• Wired networking: CAN, NMEA2000, USB, Ethernet, TSN.
• Wireless networking: Bluetooth, LE‑Audio, Wi‑Fi.
