The County of Volusia is seeking Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) candidates to provide basic life support, pre-hospital medical care, and transportation for the ill and injured throughout Volusia County. This position is posted on a continuous basis and may close without notice. This position requires availability for around-the-clock shifts. This position includes days, nights, weekend shifts and holidays. Hiring Range Emergency Medical Technician Trainee: $17.75. After successful clearance with the Medical Director, the employee will receive a base pay increase of $1.25 per hour. Shift Differential Pay Employees will receive an additional $1.85 per hour for hours worked between 10pm and 4am.
