Position Summary

North Island Hospital Comox Valley is seeking part‑time or full‑time Emergency Medicine Physicians. Candidates must hold CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency certification. The hospital is a 24‑hour Emergency Department serving approximately 66,000 people with over 31,000 visits annually. Physicians will manage a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics, and serve as part of the Rapid Response and trauma teams. The department supports clinical teaching for medical students and residents.

Qualifications & Experience

• CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency certification.
• Dedicated academic, quality improvement, or leadership experience is an asset.
• Full‑time or part‑time (minimum .8 FTE) work acceptable.
