This is a 6‑month fixed‑term opportunity, covering a secondment, where you’ll step into the heart of the Market Strategy & Portfolio team as a Energy Analyst .

Ideally based in Wellington, and reporting to the Market Strategy & Portfolio Manager, you’ll work across short to mid‑term portfolio strategy, real‑time trading support, and fuel management activities – helping ensure decisions are informed, timely, and commercially sound.

Your work will span analysis, interpretation, and action. You’ll:

• Develop and maintain short‑term electricity and gas strategies, constantly scanning the market for risks and opportunities
• Provide real‑time guidance and decision support to trading teams, especially during dynamic or high‑pressure events
