Job Description
Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Quality and Engineering Assessment Branch of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will be responsible for identifying deficiencies in compliance with NAVSEA and Shipyard quality control and radiological control requirements. You will plan and perform quality engineering audits/evaluations of selected aspects of reactor plant work and processes used at the Shipyard to identify problem areas. You will write detailed reports of the results of these audits/evaluations with the assistance of the Supervisor or other qualified auditors. You will review technical work documents to identify technical and quality problems areas and declining trends. You will represent the shipyard in dealing with outside activities and representatives in all matters pertaining to assigned projects.
