About the role

Are you passionate about the environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Environmental Scientist, where you’ll play a key role in delivering water resource and environmental investigations that support our regulatory commitments.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for delivering, tracking and reporting on the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP), helping to protect and enhance the environment for the benefit of our communities. You’ll develop action plans, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and work closely with regulators such as the Environment Agency.

You’ll carry out a range of environmental assessments to support regulatory plans and permits, including work on strategic environmental assets, WINEP schemes, habitat regulation assessments, Water Framework Directive requirements and invasive non-native species.
