STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Monitor clinical surveillance data and prepare reports to track the occurrence of infectious diseases in the institution. Contact trace individuals who have been possibly exposed to infectious diseases within the institution.
To analyse clinical and/or surveillance data and provide relevant information and/or recommendation to prevent the recurrences of infectious diseases and improve patient outcomes.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (A) SPECIFIC (90%) - Maintain accurate symptom and disease surveillance data record in a timely manner. (E.g. COVID-19 surveillance, Severe Influenza surveillance, Group A Streptococcus surveillance, TB surveillance, MOH Severe Illness and Deaths from Possible Infectious Causes (SIDPIC))
