Job Description

We are seeking an Equipment and Parts Management Technician responsible for managing the organization, inventory control, procurement, and operation of a spare parts management system used in maintaining medical device manufacturing equipment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485) and internal quality systems by maintaining accurate records and ensuring equipment operates within specified tolerances.

Onsite work in Burnaby, BC.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective inventory management system for equipment spare parts.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine the spare parts requirements for custom-built and off-the-shelf equipment.
  • Ensure documentation for custom parts is complete and suitable for ordering parts from fabrication suppliers.
  • Support equipment maintenance and engineering teams by providing spare parts in a timely manner to reduce unplanned downtime.
