(Physician/MD qualifications required) Emergency Medicine - I am seeking a Emergency Medicine Physician for a new position not far from Boston. • ABEM only • 65,000 visits a year • Level 3 trauma • Currently have 22 MDs and 6 mid levels. Mid levels practice independently (big selling point here) • Contracted for 28 hours a week, 1320 hours a year (4 weeks' vacation, 1 week CME + CME expenses reimbursed up to $4,000|year), 2 weekends a month • Currently have 12 shifts a day. All shifts are 8 hours. Everyone rotates through all shifts. • Always have double coverage of MDs, including at night • 3 nocturnists on staff currently (but still looking to hire nocturnist if anyone is applying) • Providers average about 15 shifts a month Steve Pearlstein, , ext 227
