Tethera Vets is a proudly independent, progressive farm and equine practice in the Eden Valley, just off the A66 and 25mins off the M6 at Penrith. Close to the Lake District and Yorkshire dales.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced full time vet to join our keen and enthusiastic team. There is some flexibility for part time hours for the right candidate.

• Good mix of dairy, beef and sheep with plenty of routine work as well as lots of calving and lambing.
• All the equipment you would expect- easi-scan ultrasound scanners, X-ray machine, bull and tup fertility testing equipment, Total-vet, Vet Impress, in house lab for mastitis samples, worm and fluke counts and inhouse blood machine.
• TB testing and export work shared out between all vets
• Regular farmer meetings on a variety of topics
