ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Trains department personnel in the set-up and operation of extrusion equipment and support equipment.

2. Ensures material being produced meets specifications.

3. Ensures proper recording of reports, data, and testing procedures.

4. Communicates/coordinates shift activity with other shifts and departments.

5. Makes suggestions to improve process or procedures within department.

6. Diagnoses operational/quality problems and directs correctional activities.

7. Performs all machine operation functions within department.

8. Follows and participates in plant safe housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.

9. Remains compliant with SQF / HACCP requirements as per this location’s written “Food Safety & Quality Policy”
