Summary The purpose of the Family Child Care (FCC) Director position is to administer a home-based developmentally appropriate early childhood and school age program for children of eligible patrons. Administration includes direction and operation of a small (up to 29 homes) or medium (30-85 homes) FCC system. A variety of services are provided by CDH providers in accordance with demand and availability of funding. Responsibilities Program Management Applies professional knowledge of child development principles to supervise the FCC's developmental programming. Ensures implementation of a developmentally appropriate program that promotes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of children in the age categories served.
