This is a full-time role for a UK/EMEA Field Service Engineer at Sterling Ultra Precision. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for ultra‑precision lathes in the UK and Europe.
The Service Engineer is a key member of an international service team. The individual serves as a liaison between the customer and company for technical service issues. General duties include ophthalmic lathe installation and training, troubleshooting of electromechanical, electronic and software problems both at the customer site and remotely via TeamViewer, telephone and email.
