CORE RESPONSIBILITIES To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Godwin fleet equipment between each rental. Troubleshoot diesel engine, electrical systems and pump problems. Rebuild diesel engines and pump ends. Assist customer and/or Xylem personnel with setting up pumping systems on customer job sites as needed. Assist in the performance of start-up duties and ensure any problems are resolved. Perform an initial inspection of Godwin fleet equipment for possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager. Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality. Perform preventative maintenance on Company vehicles and shop support equipment. Perform diagnostic checks using computer technology.
