About The Organisation And The Role Ywaste is a social enterprise that in 17 years has grown from a family business to an operation which diverts over 1000 tons of waste from landfills every month. Ywaste focuses on effective and responsible management of food waste and conversion to various methods which reduces the contribution food waste makes to landfill proliferation. This also enables the replenishment of the soil, which in turn, leads to a better world.
