Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the accounts receivable (debtors) function across all business entities.
- Drive proactive credit risk management, including credit limit applications and approvals
- Oversee cash collections and ensure the collections cycle runs efficiently and consistently.
- Manage a large trade customer base with a focus on policy-driven, automated controls
- Oversee the creditors / accounts payable function within the shared services centre.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum of 7 years experience doing debtors and creditors related work.
- Experience managing a high-volume trade debtors book in a multi-branch, retail, wholesale or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management principles, collections strategy, and accounts payable processes.
