Job Purpose
As a Finance Officer you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization. Your expertise in finance accounting principles and tax regulations will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, GAAP).
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit tax returns (income tax, sales tax).
Payroll Processing
- Process payroll including calculating salaries, deductions and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports.
