Job Description
- Maintain general ledger integrity and process monthly journals including accruals, payroll, depreciation, and prepayments
- Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage and coordinate month-end close processes and prepare financial reporting packs
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting insights
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing including reconciliations and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with SARS requirements including EMP201, EMP501, and payroll tax submissions
- Oversee debtor and creditor functions including reconciliations and payment reviews
- Manage cashbook processing and prepare short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts
- Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation, additions, and disposals
