You will be responsible for overseeing the financial management function of a large-scale mining operation, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while providing meaningful commercial insights to support business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with operational and executive stakeholders, analysing business performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving sound financial decision-making across the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable business insights
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
- Oversee month-end and year-end reporting processes
