**Job Description**
**First Cook-Food Service Food Production-Mount Sinai West-Part Time, 7am to 3pm, Weekends and Holidays**
The First Cook prepares high quality foods for patients and non-patient services
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training in food preparation preferred.
+ Three years of large quantity cooking experience. Two years related experience.

**Responsibilities**
+ Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical/technical/service/administrative tasks
+ Prepares high quality foods for patient and non-patient services.
+ Ensures that all equipment used for handling and preparation of food is functioning properly. Reports malfunctions to Supervisor/ chef manager
+ Maintains and verifies full compliance with OHSM/HACCP standards.
