Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all fixed assets in the general ledger.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
• Calculate and record depreciation and amortisation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Conduct regular asset reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate and execute annual or periodic physical asset verification.
• Maintain proper tagging, documentation, and safeguarding of company assets.
• Implement and enforce internal controls over assets to mitigate risk.
• Support financial oversight
• Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Provide financial insights relating to asset utilisation and lifecycle planning.
