Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer – Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)

Overview

The Flight Test Instrumentation Architecture & Equipment team provides flight‑test means to gather data from the test object (on A/C) for further evaluation. The selected candidate will join a multicultural team responsible for the full life cycle of a Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) installation for development aircraft, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and define FTI installations onboard Flight Test Aircraft for the Eurofighter program, compiling and analysing requirements for hardware, software and digital systems.
• Develop and prepare FTI documentation for aircraft‑installation design offices and laboratory facilities, ensuring alignment with quality, cost and time procedures.
