Responsibilities

The conversion engineer is in charge of the installation of topsides in the framework of the conversion of a LNG carrier into a permanent storage vessel. The work under is responsibility includes but not limited to:

• Installation of a new Boil of Gas Compressor Module 1700 tons)
• Installation of a new Ehouse with frecuency converters transformers HV&LV swichgears
• Installation of new manifold for LNG import export
• Upgrade of the automation system
• Adhere company safety policy and actively participate in creating safe working environment at all time
• Coordinate detailed engineering activities from Contractor with Project Engineering Manager and disciplines Leads: ie preparing scope of works commenting documents etc.
• Make the Interface with Package Managers / Modules Construction Manager / Disciplines Lead (Structure elec E&I etc..)
• Involved in technical review of subcontractors
