Position Overview
The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing reconciliations and management reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and collaborating with cross‑border finance teams and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure transaction accuracy and timely recording.
- Process vendor invoices and payments, manage customer invoicing and collections, reconcile supplier and customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash positions, prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow summaries, and support cash forecasting activities.
