Job Description
General Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes. The role ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries (AP, AR, payroll, accruals, adjustments)
- Handle bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing
- Prepare financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
- Support tax compliance and government reportorial requirements
- Monitor cash flow and budget utilization
- Assist in audit preparation (internal and external)
