The Role
As a General Maintenance Operative / Caretaker, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the safety, compliance and functionality of buildings across site.
Day-to-day, you’ll carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across building fabric, ensuring facilities remain operational, safe and fit for purpose.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out general building maintenance and fabric repairs across siteConducting routine inspections including fire doors, fire stopping and water systems (L8 checks)Responding to reactive maintenance issues and making them safeSupporting planned preventative maintenance activities to ensure complianceWorking collaboratively within a small team and providing cover when requiredParticipating in a 24/7 on-call rota (following initial training period) Essential experience of the General Maintenance Op...
