Job Description of Senior Geologist

i. Assist Project Manager (PM) to monitor the day-to-day works of Consultant and Contractor.

ii. Assist PM to study the general suitability of the site proposed by the Consultant in terms of geological

and geomorphological view point.

iii. Review and report opinions regarding surface/ underground works, roads, bridge sites etc. proposed

by the Consultant or planned by the Company.

iv. Assist PM to determine ground hazards and carryout risk assessment for possible landslides and

assist in studies involving general terrain and geological mapping (of surface and subsurface as

required).

v. Assist PM to collect, analyze and interpret project related geological data.

vi. Use and analyze site information (such as radar images, aerial photographs, reports and geological maps) related to site investigations works submitted by the Consultant. ...
