SUMMARY

The Gift Shop Clerk provides customer service to gift shop customers, processes payments for products, stocks shelves and maintains store cleanliness.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains high customer service standard and provides strong customer service to customers

Responds to customer inquiries about products 

Processes payments of goods using electronic point-of-sale equipment

Follows merchandise display design plan in displaying products within the gift shop and on the shelves

Maintains gift shop cleanliness and security

Reviews merchandise received against purchase orders to ensure accuracy of merchandise and quantity received

Logs products sold to assist with inventory tracking

Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Some high school education

Up to 1 year of retail store or customer service work experience, preferred
