GP Programme Directors are responsible for providing education in a safe environment for doctors wanting to become GPs. This involves planning, facilitating, and evaluating the process of learning. The role includes support from other Programme Directors.
A full‑time opportunity for a GP Training Programme Director has become available for the Hackney Training Programme, with a start date as soon as possible and a contract lasting until 31st March 2027.
The fixed half‑day release for Hackney is Tuesday afternoon.
The posts will be for 3 sessions a week (12 hours per week).
The GP Training Programme Director works with and supports the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.
