The Data Protection and FOI Compliance Manager is the technical expert responsible for the management of general data protection obligations, ensuring that the Hospital is compliant with the relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• The processing of all FOI, data protection, legal and PQ requests (as relevant to the role).
• Advising the Hospital Executive on any data protection issues with regard to the exchange of information with other agencies and for any contracts or services.
• Overseeing the management of the organisation’s data protection non‑compliances and breaches.
• Co‑ordinate the implementation of the Data Protection quality improvement plan(s).
• Provide management support within a function and supervise staff within own remit.
