What does a Technical Safety Engineer do? Technical safety engineers are responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling risks. They use their knowledge of engineering principles to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate those hazards.

Technical safety engineers typically have a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemical engineering.
